SMS offers an After-School Care Program for Kindergarten to Grade 5 students on school days from 3:10 to 5:30 p.m. (2:20 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays). The program is flexible, allowing parents to register for regular or drop-in care on a yearly or monthly basis.
Staffed by a dedicated supervisor and an experienced assistant, the program provides a welcoming and inclusive environment. Children are encouraged to express themselves, build cross-grade connections, and develop social, creative, and critical thinking skills through a variety of activities, including crafts and games.
SMS adheres to all Health Authority licensing requirements, including mandated child-to-staff ratios. Our facilities are licensed by Island Health and are regularly inspected by the health authority’s licensing officer.

$5,000 per year or $500 x 10 months

Yearly 5-day registrations receive priority. Occasional After School Care is subject to availability.

Withdrawal and refund policy
Withdrawals made up to one month before the program start date will receive a full refund, minus a $40 administration fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than one month before the program start date. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to External Programs.
