The SMS boarding community provides a nurturing and empowering environment for young women to flourish academically and socially. Our program is designed to prepare students for the future's challenges and opportunities, offering a supportive home away from home. RESIDENCES
Our four houses—Barton, Fenwick, French, and Pearce—are more than just dormitories; they are nestled in a quiet corner of our campus, providing a serene and supportive environment. Each house is staffed by a live-in house parent and a dedicated team that offers support day and night.
Each room accommodates two students and features a private bathroom. Students enjoy convenient access to the School’s extensive athletic and academic facilities, including tennis courts, gyms, a fitness center, dance and yoga studios, computer and language labs, and music rooms.

Dining
Boarding students are served three healthy meals and snacks daily in Alexis Hall, with options available for selective eaters and those with dietary needs.
Laundry
Students can choose to do their laundry in their houses for just $1, or take advantage of our convenient laundry day service.
Health Centre
From Monday to Friday, our health care team helps schedule student off-campus medical and health care appointments within the school week.
Counselling
Available during and after school hours, our counsellors support students in areas such as mindfulness and stress management.
Transportation
Our school provides regular service to downtown Victoria, BC Ferries, and the airport. Taxis and public transit are other great options.
Security
Our campus is patrolled by a security guard in the evenings and weekends. House parents are always on duty when students are in the boarding houses.
