SMS facilities are available for community use year-round, accommodating events such as conferences, workshops, sporting events, and specialized instructional camps. The philosophy of SMS supports the rental of its facilities to external agencies and community groups under the following conditions:

• The use of the facilities aligns with the philosophy and goals of SMS and does not disrupt the School's instructional or daily activities.

• The group or agency requesting the use adheres to a nondiscriminatory policy regarding membership, goals, and activities, ensuring inclusivity regardless of personal beliefs or characteristics such as political views, religion, national or ethnic origin, race, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disabilities.

• The group's services must benefit the community at large.

SMS facilities can be rented to profit-making entities for training or other purposes, provided the rental is not for retail purposes. Not-for-profit entities may use rented facilities for fundraising purposes.
