Whether you’re learning the basics of tennis or honing your skills, this camp accommodates tennis players of all levels. Skills, play, and fun are all included in this week of tennis. Encourage your child’s natural creativity by allowing them to unleash their inner artist and learn new ways to express themselves through art. Explore a new theme and art material each day, and learn different techniques and creative approaches to artistry. Monday we dive into all the different ways we can paint, Tuesday we explore pottery-making and modeling clay techniques, Wednesday we unleash our inner artist with sketching and drawing, and Thursday it’s all about Scrapbooking. On Friday, you have a chance to showcase your new skills and use your imagination with our creative free-art stations. We will make sure to move our bodies with games and outside play to keep everyone entertained. During the week, award-winning charity Story Studio will visit for an exciting half-day crash course in creating amazing stories. Students ages 7 to 12 will now be able to enjoy an exciting and enriching full-day camp with movement and creative activities. The day begins at the beautiful St. Margaret’s School campus, where students can expect a morning filled with engaging and imaginative activities, projects, and more. St. Margaret’s School is a pioneer in their field and treats quality education with upmost importance. After the completion of morning activities, students will be transported by bus to Western Canada’s leading Dance School, Victoria Academy of Ballet (VAB), where they will participate in fun and inspiring dance classes that promote self-expression, musicality, body awareness and build confidence. VAB offers students ranging in age and skill level, specialized and safe dance instructions in a welcoming, inclusive, and rewarding learning environment, while supporting their personal growth and individual development. With VAB’s highly qualified teachers, students will experience Ballet, conditioning and stretching classes for an inspired afternoon.
This camp will be in two locations. At SMS in the morning and at the Victoria Academy of Ballet in the afternoon. Transportation will be provided.

This four-day self-defence series will equip your child with the tools to set, hold and enforce their personal boundaries. Students will enjoy this empowering physical training while learning to set boundaries with friends and acquaintances through fun, scenario-based exercises. We will discuss online safety, and sexual assault prevention in an age-appropriate context. Self-confidence and awareness are key for your child, as they gain more independence and responsibility. Your educator and instructor is Yvette André, founder of Sixth Sense Self Defence Ltd. She has trained and taught in male-based combat sports for 30 years and has developed programs specifically with female physiology and safety in mind.
